Author Guidelines

Submission to the Conferência do Iluminismo Científico is open to works inside the conference's thematic circunference, written and presented in portuguese.

Submissions will be pre-evaluated by the editors on its thematic fitness and overall conformance to the editorial standards. If approved by pre-evaluation, they will be forwarded for evaluation by one of more rounds of review, when both authors and reviewers will work together to polish the rough stone. Last, the journal's editors will work with the authors to finish editing the text with aim to publication.

Submissions must conform to the editorial standards of the conference. At the pre-evaluation stage, small deviations won't cause problems; authors must be prepared to resolve all deviations at the final, pre-publication stage.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
